Alliance Française Dublin is proud to be an official provider of French language training under the Language Upskilling Scheme funded by the Department of Education and administered by PPLI / Languages Connect, which introduces Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) within the Primary School setting as part of a redeveloped Primary Language Curriculum.

Course format:

  • Entry level: from CEFR levels A2.1 to B1.2
  • Mode of delivery: In person ( Alliance Française Dublin) in the afternoon or online (zoom) in the evening
  • Course duration: 30 Hours = 24 hours of language learning + 6 hours of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning)
  • Course schedule: 2,5 hours per week over 12 weeks
  • Course content: Classes focus on both language learning and practical classroom application to enhance your teaching in French. Each session consists of 2 hours of French language learning, followed by 30 minutes of practical classroom activities designed to help you integrate French into your teaching

1/5 of the programme is dedicated to didactics & CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and will include progressive activities to be included in your class such as: morning rituals / days & date / weather / simple emotions and opinions / History / Science / food / and more!
