School Holiday Camps

Every School break Alliance Française Dublin runs French programmes for children (3-5 / 6-9 / 10-12 years old), teenagers (Junior & Leaving Cycles), and also for bilingual pupils, focusing on participants interests and levels, and seasonal themes.
Children discover French stories and songs of the season, leading to various fun activities and arts & crafts, while Teenagers’ fun activities are completed with a special focus on the Junior & Leaving Certificate Syllabus. In addition to our award-winning tuition, other camp activities in French include*: workshops at The French Library, walking tours of nearby museums & parks, arts & craft, quizzes, board games, treasure hunt in our listed building, and more!
Alliance Française Dublin employs and trains the best native French teachers in Ireland. They all are Garda-vetted, qualified, and experienced with children. In contrast to most Irish institutes, we take no more than 10 students per group to ensure the best learning experience for all. Our communicative approach ensures that every child is given ample opportunity to actually speak French.

The Alliance Française’s award-winning Summer Camps blend structured learning with fun activities and hands-on experiences to make language acquisition both effective and enjoyable.
– Children will discover French through stories and songs, leading to various fun activities such as arts & craft, quizzes, games, treasure hunts in our listed building, and trips to nearby parks.
– Teenagers will strengthen key skills while reinforcing essential vocabulary and grammar. Through role-playing, challenges and games, they will develop strong communication skills in a fun and supportive environment. Classes cover aspects of the curriculum of the School Year ahead to start again fully prepared and confident in September. For pupils going into Leaving Cert, sessions will cover essential strategies and techniques for excelling in the French examination, including mock exams to simulate real test conditions.
– All camps encourage creativity and cultural exploration, with activities such as podcast creation, storytelling, and interactive projects. Pupils will step outside the classroom (weather permitting!) to discover French culture first-hand through museum visits and local outings, making language learning both immersive and exciting!
